As an artist I am excited and awed by the beauty of nature in its many expressions. When I look at nature I experience joy, quiet, peace and solitude. For me this happens through the dynamic interplay of light and dark, the brilliance of the hues, and the vibrant and subtle colours of the changing seasons. I am continually challenged to capture this energy on canvas.  The glazing technique has allowed me to explore in greater depth my feelings about nature and its energy. I am left breathless when this interaction with nature occurs.
